Mobile Trends for 2013

Best Mobile 2013
The 2012 year is coming to its end. Only several big mobile products left to be expected to release like new iPhone from Apple, but that’s it. The developers work hard to impress users with their innovative technologies news year. What will they be? It is hard to statebecause they are mostly “top secret” projects, but we can guess what directions they will be developed in.

Trend 1.Smartphones, tablets, phablets and other hybrid devices.

The market of mobile gadgets will be expanding. The situation we observe today is just a beginning of mobilization. We may find the reviews of prototypes of different gadgets in the Net and I believe that most of these projects will get a further development.

Trend 2.Hybrid and multiplatform application development.

What is it? Hybrid and multiplatform apps can be installed and run on any device, no matter what operation system it has. Convenient? I think so. Besides, iOS development as well as Android development will get its further improvements.

Trend 3. Cloud computing

Not many people have already got the pleasure from using cloud systems. The systems have been developed fast and their application is becoming more and more efficient, especially in business sphere. Besides, considering that most of the future technologies are supposed to be mobile, this trend won’t pass the cloud computing as well.

Trend 4. Speed of data transmission

The mobile Internet doesn’t have a big speed of data transmission. But I think it is only a temporary situation. 4G will be widely applied especially in the USA, Canada and European countries where 3G has already become “outdated”.

Trend 5.Apps and software.

Microsoft has started to level the differences between mobile applications and software by releasing its new Windows 8 OS that beinstalled both on smartphones and pcs.

Trend 6. HTML5

HTML 5 is the language of web development that will be widely used in future. All other languages can’t suggest the same functional level. Besides, HTML 5 can be successfully used bother for mobile and pc developments.

Trend 7. Becoming green

Most of the hardware manufacturers have already started to use “green” technologies in their production. Now the trend is spreading among mobiles in the form of smartphones with sun-powered batteries, or phones with lower level of emissions, etc.

Trend 8.Water-proof systems.

I’m not sure how successful the projects will be (especially taking into account that waterproof phones didn’t get great popularity) but the technologies of making smartphones and tablet resistible to water and blows are real.

Trend 9. Projection and 3D systems

Tired of ordinary physical and touch keyboards? Want to watch a movie on the wall just like in the cinema? The developers have ambitious plans of making it real.

I have listed here only the most evident trends in mobile development for 2013. The real projects will combine several features, and something new will be introduced. Or may be Google or Apple will shock us with a brand new gadget that no one could even imagine?
